Why meditate? You'll let go of what is perhaps your all-too-familiar pressure-driven, "gotta-do-this", 90mph stressed out energy... to a far more easeful & restored nervous system, which = more vitality & energy, & more of all that we truly value for ourselves & who we desire to be, for ourselves & the people we love.
On the flip side, when we just roll out of bed, zip to the next pressing "issue" (because this is how our human brains are wired.. for survival,) we create & experience chronic stress.
This chronic stress (which we feel is just a natural 'part of a busy mom's life or a working person's way of life,) is no joke.
This chronic stress is actually the very thing that gets in our way of being who we desire to be in this world, as parents, as creators, as partners, as human beings.
This chronic stress creates a chronic "drip" of cortisol & adrenaline.
This drip creates massive detrimental & real physiological impacts in our bodies, in the short term & very much in the long term, in the way of inflammation, a breakdown of cellular functions, irritability, more body aches, more tension & less of everything we desire. This the impact on the physiological level.
This way of being also has such an impact on who we are in the world.
